BUSY BUSY BUSY...Almost every single day is packed with stuffs. Lab seems to be my hang-out place in school other than lecture halls.Time really passes unknowingly fast.Next week, there will be clinical optometry test 2. As for the following week, it will mark the beginning of clinical opto practical examination which will determine whether you can 'promote' or affect your GPA greatly since it is a 8 credits unit module. At the same time, there will be pathology test 2 and contact lenses practical examination. As for the last week, slide test for pathology, practical examination and ooptics test 2. The weightage is like 40 percents and the whole 11 chapters will be tested.shall not update much till the last week of school or even after 3 major papers. Take care people... You all will still be missed by me. :)

Ophthalmoscoping has been a disaster for me since the first time I hold the instrument. Repeatedly, i have told myself that in 2 weeks time, i going to be tested for my oph skills as well as k-meter and slit lamp. What should i do? This is not something that people can teach me. Maybe they can correct the way i hold but they can’t tell me what i going to see. Every individual has a very unique fundus. OH MY 天！
Just now i did try on the schematic eye. It appears so clear to me and I even can draw out the arteries and veins out. BUT, schematic eye wun blink and is always stationary. How i wish that the exam is on schematic eye. I have crossed my fingers to get those who have very low blinking rate to be my subject.
Who volunteer to be my subject? Please contact me!!! Just 10 minutes of shining light into your beautiful eyes :)

fridayTime seems to pass very slow on firday. Did refraction on dar and think i overminus him. Will continue to try more on refraction and master the technique well. went and look for dr.zhu after school. She was like telling us how she feel about this year's year one and saying how well we were when we were in year 1. AND i ate one seed of durian! yumyum..As for today, worked at optical shop again. Basically there wasn't many customers so i just slacked and stoned for hours. lalala.. There is soooo much stuffs to learn. It's not the matter of how well you can memorise and IS the EXPERIENCE.

Back from school and basically my house seemed like hotel to me for the past 2 days. Ate breakfast, bath-ed and slept for 6 hours. Everything seems to happen so quickly and there are no extra time for me to process and digest. Assignments which kill our brain cells, practical reports which require research, upcoming scary practical tests which will affect our result GREATLY and lots and lots of tests. SCREWED UP MAN :(Due to the ophthalmic practical on monday, i am sooo obsessed with people's spectacle and how the spectacle can be improved. IT's FRIDAY! Time seems long when i am hoping it to pass as soon as possible. How i wish now is like the last week of the semester and i can sleep for all day long. Feeling so tense up recently and nothing seems to get into my brain. Got back all my mst papers. 2 As, 1 Bt ,1 B and 1 C+. All i will say is i did my best and have no regret. :)) carl's jr again coz i love the fries. i din eat finish again and left a lot more as compared to the previous time. Strolled from Clarke quay river to somewhere near the colourful bridge. Its like super long distance but i enjoy the walk. :)looking forward to 15 july....

attended konda's lecture on wed extra lab for slit lamp bio microscopy and flipped dar's eyelido0uch... i know is painful and feel a sense of guilt. and i know my mistake. i shouldn't touch and hold on the lid margin. Should hold on the skin fold on the upper eyelid.AND AND dar got e sign of having ptosis sooner or later. His upper eyelid will tend to drop down and made me so pek cek upon doing those different technique. But no choice la. Have to force him to open his eye big big. went out with dar afterwhichwatched its a boy-girl thing at the catheywe ate carl's jr to my surprise, dar could finish the big burgar. HAHA!i shall change my pow of him from that moment onward.As for today, slit lamp again.did conical beam, sclerotics and measure the van Herrick angle. The lower the grade you have,the higher the chance of getting acute angle closure glaucoma.Mine is grade 4 :)ate lunch at food republic, vivolove the food there tho it is like sooo expensive high class kpt ta-bao some red bean stuff for mama :)Smile :)PS:i love my new colour change-able pillow with lots of bones and ribs on top. :)PSS:Sometime it is better not to think too much. Everything will have a solution eventually. it is just the matter of time.PSSS: dar just sms-ed me and said will be bringing me to clarke quay tml. :))))

woah! Once again, today will be the beginning of week 13 and left a few weeks more to the major examination. But there will be lots of practical tests and quizzes coming out as well. I just hope for the best of all and do my best for every single one. Worked at optical shop on yesterday and he lets me do the auto-refractor on one of his customers. My focusing isn't very well but luckily the reading isn't very off. HAHA... Chilled out with jay and the co. after work. Dined in at one of the cafe at t2. Shared safari feast with jay. i love the drumlets. Yummy! What a pity!THE emo king isnt able to make it for this gathering. Nevertheless, we still make a effort to visit him after the dinner. Afterall we are still very loyal to this EMO club which just have 5 members.As for today, slit lamp practical was alright. Asked the clinician to check and my recording is sort of being checked. It makes me feel safer and ensure me that i am on the right track. Managed to focus at the crystalline lens, anterior chamber and the endothelial cell.Oh ya! I am a very typical contact lens wearer with follices and papillae on my upper and lower palpebral conjunctiva. PS: Thanks jay for understanding my situation and my feeling! PSS: Must always remember the 'phrase' in heart. It's touching!PSSS: i love my friends :)

Back from my first day of work at the optical shop.Everything seems alright and fine to me.Play with the focimeter and check the power of some spectacles and the way to measure progressive lens is different from normal single vision lens.measured some customer's PD.The rest of the time was like chatting with the boss and stoning at the shop.i fall in love with the mini bsn i saw at one of the pushcart at kovan. Should i go and buy?

was feel uneasy and nausea since last night and did managed to go to school this morning. i thought i will get well upon going to school but in the end, my condition din turn out well. I am still SICK.Went to visit the doctor after the extra lab session. We will like trying to flip each other's upper eyelid. I succeed in flipping Dar's eyelid. Think i gonna train well if not i gonna touch and exert pressure on my patient's eye globe instead of the lid.Visit the doctor and he gave me a load of different nice colour's tablet. I know eating too much anti-biotics will 'so of' weaker our immune system BUT then i wanna get well like REAL SOON. Tomorrow i going to report for my first day of work and i dun wish to miss it. Please respect my decision. i know i am a stubborn girl and have made my 5 promises.Revising my JCC skills just in case tomorrow i gonna try out jcc. :)Thanks dar for accompany me to the doctor and the chrysanthemum tea! Appreciate your love and care :)

Slit lamp biomicroscopy!
This very nice and complicated instrument is what i will be learning tomorrow.
All the best to me as there are really A LOTs of different sections with different beam size,width,illumination,magnification and the angle of the slit lamp.
All those facts sound chim and indeed it is.
Faith is what i needed most now.
i need the faith in myself that i will be able to tackle those obstacles.

Recalling the first clinical opto practical,we were like so excited over those different charts,
anticipating toalmost everything.
As for today, i went for extra pract and did subjective refraction. i gave up half-way. Just cant remember clearly all the steps and procedures. Sorry.
Watched 10 promises to my dog and i cried. It's is perhaps touching or rather i just cried out.
