I found myself a job at optical shop. The mature student aka vincent just called me earlier on and asked me to work on weekends. Satursday - 1130am-8pm Sunday - 10am to 2 pm. However the pay is like really normal sale person- 5bucks/hr. dar is like saying that i am being coned by the person. I also know that my pay should be slightly higher like 6.50bucks. What should i do? What i want is just to gain experience and to test out whether i like my future working environment. It is nice of him to hire me whereby i just know subjective refraction and auto refractor. Perhaps my pay will increase as time passes by? don't worry be happy

Mst is finally over and i am offically free from mst till next semester. But in 1.5 month time,i need to restart my engine again and study for my final examination. Thanks god as there will be only 3 examinated modules. Though there are only 3,they are all killer papers. Ocular pharm,ocular Path and Intro to Contact lenses. Good luck to me at that time!The more i think of my mst, the more i feel that i wun do well. i made many careless mistakes as i recalled those questions. Nevertheless, i will just learn from it and carry on :)I din went out and shop with dar yest. We went to work instead. What a nice post-test activity! Feel so no life but then i need and love money.As for today,went to snec for the study. i did 5 auto refractor, 9 interviews and 1 IOL on sin yee. What a fulfilling trip! And the dr said we improved by 400% as compared to the first day. i agreeed to what he has said.still remember the very first when we went there,we like did nothing but simply walking around and looking at how they are doing. But now, we did admin, interview, height and weight, skin fold, blood pressure,auto refractor and discharge. Believe that we will move on to retinoscoping and cover test soon. went to hk cafe with my family and ah ma after the research. oh ya! I went to ask the ' mature student' for part time job at his optical shop. He said he will call me and i just hope that he will call me and hire me. The most funniest part is that i happily tell him what have i learn so far so as to gain my chances of getting employed. He is stunned by the stuffs that we learn in year 2. Bought the natural confectionary co. again and my dar's Florida's Natural. It tastes weird. i dun like. still prefer my chong chong and dinosaur :)

lalala...4 papers down and i have left the last paper which is on Friday. How i wish my last paper will be like today or tomorrow. Looking forward to Friday at 1130AM and will be going out with dar after that. Yeah! Can't wait for that moment to come!As for the past four paper,i can say i had done my best and just had one regret for my pharm paper. 'illustrate and briefly explain' stupid me just drew out the 2 pathways and din explain. no point talking about it since it was over so i shall learn my lesson from there.azaza fighting for the last paper! Omg! I feeling so relaxed though my mst going to begin in just 1.5 days. dun really know why :xTo some extent,i can say i have covered 80 percents of those tested chapters but not all the contents i know,understand and remember. Just pray hard that i can apply what i have learnt and write out nicely. OH ya! For intro to contact lenses, we dun need to write in full sentence! As for today, just flipped through my ooptics and pharm. met up with dar for dinner @ mad jack. took lrt there and i love the linking bridge!To all those who are having their mst, ALL the best and azaza fighting!

lalala...left just 2.5 days before the first paper starts. Just checked the test dates and venue yestersday. MondayClinical Opto: 3.30pm,T244TuesdayOoptics: 8.30pm,T4A54Ocular pharmacology:1.30pm,T624WednesdayPAthology: 3.30pm, T4A55ThursdayPractical SessionNo paper :)FridayIntro to Contact Lenses: 10.30am,T612How i wish all my paper will be in the morning so that i can go home earlier and have a nice afternoon nap before start revising the next day paper? But then,i got 3 papers which start in the afternoon or mid-afternoon.And afternoon between 3-4 is my optimum sleeping time. As for my revision, just left a few chapters here and there. PAth is the worst module so far. Those signs and symptoms i dun really can remember. The part on infection and inflammation and mostly on those different types of conjunctivitis- hyperaemia, allergies(Seasonal and pevennial, vernal keratoconjuntivitis, atropic keratoconjuntivitis,Giant papillary), chlamydia(trachoma + inclusion), viral, toxic and bacterial.Should i go and buy my happy meal? Lols!

I feel so tanned or rather black and dark. I wonder how i going to attend concert tomorrow? How i wish there is such a whitening cream or lotion that will make me whiten after one time of usage.Brought my younger sister to optical shop as she finally agreed to wear spec. haha...i should be hiding in my study room and in my studying mode. But i am right here blogging my dream. To be frank, i din did much stuffs for the whole of today. see! i am so honest. Practically, i slept for like 15 hours in total, study for like 4 hours in total. I flipped through my path notes on infection and inflammation and i just remember chalazon,blepharitis and those different types of conjunctivitis. As for contact lens,i finally read through lecture 3. It seems like i took thousands of hours to read through though it just have 48 wordy slides.So what is my dream? i feel like taking a general degree after i graduated and become a certified optometrist. General degree will be like business and i want to focus on HR. It may be random for me to think about business degree as i am right now taking science course. But how would i possibly stay and work at optical shop for the rest of my life? Unless i operate an optical shop. LOLs!My other dream will be to get married by the age of 25 and have my first child at the age of 27. It is always better for us to plan before hand and know our direction in life so as to prevent any wastage of time.

9 June 2008Combined PTN @ sentosa and i had fun. I am sure those hyper people and OC definitely had fun as well. I was grouped with joan, yu han, girls from 05 and 3 year one. Through those ball games, i got to know them better and interact more. Quite a nice experienced and fun trip to sentosa beside getting red and tanned. 10 June 2008Sentosa trip with jayen and co. (cited TEO,2008)meet up with dar early in the morning just to pass him my dad's spare phone as his phone is spoilt and totally can't sms or call. Took cab to kovan instead of going to boon keng as i was so pek cek with the traffic jam and decided to align at kovan. It costed me a bomb to take cab in peak hour with those extra charges. 10 bucks! Nevertheless,the spare phone just aided dar in calling people and answering calls. No SMSs = NO morning and night msgs from him for the time being :(Trained back to sengkang and reached jay's house for some washing and cutting session. I had fun chopping the cucumber and tomatoes. The tomatoes look so gross with our NICE chopping skills.At 11am, we meet up with wei hong and biqi and here come our sentosa plus picnic.i love my hair when it is tied high and tight!Sandwiches and fruit juice for lunch. I ate many lettuce roll. Healthy chimpankey!Took up lots of time to take the jumping photo. Thanks felix and wei hong for their patience! simply love that picture lots :)Walked along the beach and soaked in the sea for like 2.5 hours. It made me turn even tanned and distinct skin difference shows.Dinner @ Chomp Chomp. Ms thong and Jing Sheng aka jay's hubby were there as well. We ordered stingray, sotong, satays, giant sugarcane and hokkien mee. We were so fascinated by the strawberry flavoured beancurd that jing sheng ordered.Went mac and talked for hours. Reminiscing the past and gossipping time!Home sweet home @ 1030pm.11 June 2008Worked at The Nielsen company from 9am to 12.30pm. meet up with dar @ woodland afterwhich.watched kungfu PANda at Eng Wah,amk.The show is nice and entertaining!went to factory and worked from 6pm to 10 pm. It had been a busy and hectic 3 days for me. I should spend the rest of my holi meaningfully and perhaps mugging for my MST. I will strive to do well :) Last but not least, i love jayen and co. You guys make my life meaningful and exciting!

Brought my younger sis to optical shop and realised that she is hyperopia of +1.50D and has high astigmatism of 3.25D. Her left eye is plano. I was like so shocked when i see her prescription by the auto-refracter. Simply dun understand why she dun wan to wear spec and like now she is depending on her left eye. Can anyone enlighten me?

Well, today was a wonderful and meaningful but sinful Saturday. in the afternoon,went to causeway and meet dar. It was the 3rd time that both of us went to causeway together. Ate my very late lunch and walked around. Train-ed to lot 1 as dar wanted to collect his vouchers and once again,we roamed around lot 1. To be frank, both places are simply family outing shopping mall and dun really have much stuffs for me to shop about. Train-ed down to dar's house and played stupid board games together. These games like snake and ladder and the colour thingy.waited for everyone in his family to reach home and went to chin huat live seafood for dinner cum celebrating his mother's birthday. The dinner was alright just that most of dishes are 'ANIMALS' which made me feel sinful after eating. My one week of diet has sort off went down to the drain :(Some random thoughts seems to run through my brain while i was eating the dinner. 5 months ago,i din even know his parents and siblings and now we are eating dinner together like one big family.The feeling is simply amazing and i am at loss of words to really describe it. Somehow is really fate for me to know him and accept him as my boyfriend. i love you,dar!

Saturday 31052008Went to JMC for the research programme and this time round was much better as compared to the previous one. More hand-on and more interaction with the kids and parents. Managed to did one interview with parents with the aids of ee ling. Put eye drops on 2 very obedient kids and learn ocular dominance tests. In the afternoon, one parent allowed me to carry her baby who is 8 months old and i was feeling so elated and excited after that. It brighten up my mood for the rest of the afternoon. Babies are the most adorable and innocent people in the world.Being innocent at times is perhaps good.When the clock strikes at four, we prepared to pack up and went off. HAPPY :)Trained down from boon lay to sengkang and meet up with my dear friends. It have been a month since we last meet up. kind of miss them :) Trained down to dhoby and walked to mind's cafe(opposite paradise centre). Mind's cafe is a board gaming cafe and i suppose that it is a popular cafe as most of the seats are occupied and reserved by 7pm. The drawback for this cafe is that the food isn't nice. We had fun playing those board games. I love First Hand though my reaction was slow and a bit retarded.Trained back to sengkang and bought some vodka. As usual, we talked, played, gossiped, crap-ed and cam-whoring at void deck. I am the winner of CHEAT! Home sweet home at 12 plus :)Please go to felix's blog for pictures!
