Near addition practical seems to the most confusing practical of the whole of first semester. Near addition is required by presbyopia patient and not us. So those techniques that we are required to learn are all very confusing. Our results were like super good due to the fact that we are young adult who can accommodate very well. haha...Realised that dar's eyes have some problems in near reading. An addition of +2.50D, he dun really can read the near chart. Maybe he has some hyperopia degree? Perhaps i should do ret on him again and see the reflex again..haha..chimpankey holding ret? LOLs...There will be combined PTN at sentosa at the second week of the holiday. A bit not willing to go as there will be a lot of people( like the whole of DOPT+ personal tutors). I dun wan to be tanned after the trip. Just because of that 1 point, so no choice but to show face. No school and therefore i stay at home and slacked. The sights of those lectures notes and tutorials make me dun feel like studying. Mainly just flip through my practical manual as tml i will be going for extra lab.feel like going out with jay when she called me. But then, my mum was like asking me to stay at home as she has spent time to cook my fav.soup. So no choice but to stay at home and watch dvds.oh ya! I am planning my saving now. Plan to save up to 200 bucks by this coming December. so i shall not indulge in my magnolia go! and my green tea. 4 bucks per week will result in 112 bucks! jia you!

26 may 2008long day in school again ):had gems in the morning followed by 3 hours of break. had mac for brunch and everyone was hungry during ooptics pract.i am getting worried for my eyes as my VA is getting weird. Different people measure and the final VA is always different. The worst thing of all is i cant see through prisms. My eyes have very good fusion ability. The chart is always fuse into one. sighs...went to kovan for dinner with dar after practnice laksa that made me feel happy as i was eating it.12 satays for dar vs 3 satays for methink dar will grow fat if everytime he eats those food that i dun wan to eat.but nvm...he shall be fat zookeeper!!!PS: i sort of miss my mei mei. LOLs...

lalala...My younger sis will be going for her PRI 5 camp from Monday to Wednesday. Feeling so elated as she is finally going to learn how to be independent and not pampered. In camp,there will be no one to accept her nonsenses. YEAP! Hopefully she will learn to be nice to people and dun be so wild. The weather is killing me. :(

Woot!
Finally went out and had retail therapy. =)
Wake up quite earlier in the morning as i have the intention to type out my practical assignment. But then, my phone vibrated and here came my dar's sms saying that he had just wake up and can meet me for lunch. Cheers! I wasn't expecting to receive his morning message so early like 915am as he was having mj session yesterday. Nevertheless, we still went out for praying and lunch after i finished my ooptics tutorial.
Lunch at the bugis market. Love the nice food there though the environment is super hot and heaty.
Next, shopping time with my dar. sort of nan de he will show enthusiasm in shopping.
I started the shopping trip by buying a 5 bucks watch from bugis. Followed by dar who bought a brown top from bugis junction. went to double index and bought a white short.i longed to own a white short.
meet up with my sis afterthat as dar wanted to go mj session again. So retail therapy again.
went bugis street instead. My typical sis wants to buy those 10 bucks shirt. had hard time walking here and there. Luckily managed to find one top that she likes.oh ya! i bought one bf shirt @ 10 bucks and is blue in colour! LOLS...
Mos burgar for dinner =)

Last week of week 6 and one more week to school holiday or rather study weeks. Looking forward as it's a time when i can really rest,play and study. i wanna go beach and scream! Lols... It have been like 5 months 8 days since i last went to ecp. As usual, Friday is a super long day with the most number of lectures and tutorials. Double mocha attack!
Presentation in the morning was quite alright except that i was talking very fast. Followed by a short lecture on chapter 6. 3.5 hours break again and went to ms for lunch. Ordered iced cafe mocha so as to sit in starbucks and stone. initially we wanted to eat hotpot culture but sad to say that it only operate from 11.30 am onward so no choice but to go pizza hut and eat again. Like just one week ago,i just ate pizza hut. LOLs...
was late for CL pract. During the pract, my eyes were like super pain and even tear when i was trying to see the optic zone diameter with the len magnifier. And i give up and used other equipment instead.
After pract,rushed to mrt station as JAYEN WAS WAITING FOR ME AT DOVER MRT STATION. So touched :)
headed to bugis for some shopping. i fall in love with the esprit jean which costs 109.90 bucks. how i wish my birthday is like coming soon? fat hopes bah...

quite good service :)iced mocha elephanccino! mi-hammy vice sandwishes will be my order for my next n.y.d.c trip. garlic sauce is quite alright.
watson-ed and bought Za foundation and make up remover. Someone is learning to put on make up. Shall wait and see the effect and wonder of make up. jia you!

tuesday blue!LOLs..8am to 6pm. Slept at clinical opto's lecture. hopefully no one will realise and i can continue to sleep in her lecture next time. After lecture will be 2 hours of break, went to fc 3 and i am not eating ban mian. i ate chicken cutlet! know why i emphasizes that i wasn't eating ban mian? coz cindy was saying that i have ban mian face! LOLs..MST schedule is out! Intro to Contact lens and ocular pharmacology will be on 26 jun, at 1030 and 1530 respectively.OMG! time is getting near. !n around 1 mth time,i need to sit in examination hall again. SHOULD I STILL WORK IN THIS COMING HOLIDAY?iF i work, i dun need to bother about my expense and daily allowance.if i dun work, i need to withdraw money or use the money that i have saved. BUT i hardly save up much in this 6 weeks of school. sighs...

woke up early in the morning coz i am going to jurong bird park together with dar's familymeet dar for breakfast at westmallwent to his house and played with habinoff to jurong bird park at 9 plusthe weather wasn't goodwas super hot and humidheaded to imm for lunchdine in at ajisenback to dar's house and checked the cl ppthad some preparation and edit some slidesdar taught me how to play gun bound :) hopefully i will go master and play with him. If not he will be playing most of the time instead of talking to me. ate dinner togetherfeeling awkward perhaps need time to adapt eating with them i will do my best to be like hornbill. hmmm... spent my day widely at the clinic,see >20 children running here and there. Some are adorable while some are simply annoying. They will like start crying when they see the eye drop. They use cyclopentolate and phenylephrine to dilate the pupil and to control accommodation. Quite fun to follow up with every single step. i enjoyed the process when the children were taking their VA,3D testing,cover test and colour test. Some small kids have as high as 3D astigmatism.ended at 4pm and DAR WAS WAITING OUTSIDE THE CLINIC. Surprised :)headed to dar's house to do gems ppt. home sweet home @10pmemi cake for supper

You need to like this person very deeply before you can love this person. well, anyway...last day of week 5 and here goes my long weekend. But i still need to wake up early tomorrow top help out in the STARS research programme. was stunned by what amanda told me this morning regarding the usage of ophthalmoscopy. Hopefully he wun ask me any chim chim questions if not i going to embarrass myself from not able to answer his questions.OOptics lecture was like super blur and i dun understand the first and last part at all.Shall read through and ask dar if he knows anything. Maybe those information will diffuse into his brain while he was sleeping in the lecture.LOL!Clinical opto tut was alright except that he dun wan to reveal some of the answers and make us feel unsure of our own answer.went to fc 5 for lunch discussed gems and played psp at the same time. Clinical opto pract in the morning. did ret and subjective refraction on alison and germaine. felt so satified when my ret finding almost tally with the subjective refraction's result.yeah yeah! short discussion regarding the cl presentation after the lab. Managed to distribute those tasks and everyone have their indivdual tasks to fulfill. Hopefully this arrangement will result in their unhappiness to the min. I will be presenting together with joan and maybe alison.there will be a total of 60 plus audience that will be looking at me when i talk. FEAR AND STRESS! But well,it wil be a good practice for me if i would to think it positively.Went to ms with dar to celebrate month-sary.ate at pizza hut and watched MADE OF HONOUR. 3.5 popcorns rating. CHOCO MUD CAKE @ secret recipe afterthat.finally get to upload some pictures which i had took quite a long time ago.These are all taken randomly. =x

woot! No contact len lectures today and cancelled extra lab session. My eyes are saved from being shined by ret's light and being tested on duochrome chart. But still need to make up time for dar to do ret on me. But who going to let me do ret on them? I need subject to practice on!!!Had a wonderful and long sleep :) dar was like saying that i slept for very long. ha ha...have to admit that i am a lazy chimpankey that loves sleeping and shopping. Laugh! i bite my gums and tongue while eating biscuits which was my dinner of the daylectures and tut day.clinical opto lecture is always a sleeping time for me. i wonder is it the LT has any spell that makes me sleepy on tuesday morning. nearly close my eyes when she was explaining the errors and difficults of jcc technique. video's time was like worst. i closed my eyes for dun know how many times.Next, did sub refraction on yuhan. much refreshing and relax as compared to yestersday. Perhaps the lecture give me a clearer picture of how to do jcc.There will not be any lecture tml so equal to NO SCHOOL. yeapyeap!looking forward to thursday :):):)movie,lunch and most importantly ICE CREAM!!!

Monday blue :(Logic card for gems and was some cracking brain time for us as we were trying to figure out the logic behind each card trick. Quite entertaining and useful for chalets. No contact len pract so headed to library to discuss about the contact lens articles as we need to hand in by 27 may. As usual, we guys dun really can focus in project room. We tend to get distracted and start playing instead of doing real work. So no choice,split the questions and sent the answers via email to everyone. Next,there were quiz for clinical opto. Quite alright :) except that i wrote double circle. Know why? coz i remember the last line of duchrome chart is 2 circles. LOL!did cross cylinder on yuhan but din managed to finish as time was running out. Shall continue tml during the 2 hours break while they doing to do ret on me. Hopefully i will be a good subject and not irritating and disturbing them instead.ooptics pract was the last lesson of the day. measuring the power of lenses using focimeter. finished early and ciao~Apple pie time :) shall not eat anymore within this week coz i dun wan to have apple pie look.

Basically,i did nothing during my weekends or rather i wasted my weekends

and realised that freshkon is under ocular science
flip through clinical opto manual for like the whole day
but nothing seems to get into my brain

best vision sphere will aid to shift the circle of least confusion on the retina

It's finally beautiful friday again.8am to 6pm with lectures and tuts in betweenooptics lecture was a disaster to me but thankfully the tut session did clarify my doubts and questions. And my conclusion was that never repeat to see her do the questions after you have understand the question. The chances of you getting confused again is super high.As usual, time passed fast during path lecture and tut. :) Have to do tutorial 3 and search online again.Clarke quay-ed with dar after schooldine in at full houseThe milk tea is like the nicest of alloh yadiscussed with dar that we will be going out on friday night instead of weekends :) :) :)

Practical went quite well for todaylearn new way for doing subjective refractionpoor dar had to be stimulated with lenses and making him a myopia But too bad, it is always so troublesome to deal with people with 6/3 vision and so called the PERFECT EYESIGHTnevertheless,i still pity him and sayang him.went to Clementi for clay pot rice before heading to NUScab-ed to NUS with some of the girls in 04managed to reach there on timeand had a so called 'meeting' with Dr diranithroughout the meeting, i feel so excited about the upcoming thingyhopefully, i will be good and get paid in the end.BUT BUT, money is not the main objective of helping out in the clinicis the experience that i am looking for and most importantly able to interact with different level of people in the society.Home sweet home @3 plusHad a short nap afterthat and my wonderful dream was disrupted by my beloved dar's wake up call. i told him to call me at 630pm but he called me at 620pm. argh...ciao~Sometimes i do wonder why one will change? Changing from bad to worse or the other way round? i dunno. Change for the benefits of themselves? attracting more attention? Or becoming more inconsiderate and ridiculous? i really have no idea and dun wish to bother so much.

Today was indeed a very long and tiring day. As usual,even week's monday will have 6 hours of practical sessions. It really drained off all my energy.
First lesson, GEMS. Playing some mathemagic puzzles and had fun :) But it isnt fun when we were told that week 7 will be the presentation for assignment two.
Next, CONTACT LEN PRACT. measure base curve and thickness using radiuscope and lens gauge. A simple practical :)
Clinical opto practical was finally lighter and less stressful as compared to the last few weeks. Did subjective refraction on dar and i think we were the noisiest pair in the lab. we were like disturbing each other while reading the VA chart, duochrome chart and even have fun measuring each other's PD.
OOptics was the last lesson of the day. Learn to use focimeter to see the power of the spect,find the different principal meridian and optical centre.
Went to SP Popular after school and bought my first,heaviest and the most expensive-est book in my whole life. CLINICAL OPHLTHALMOLOGY and costs $148
Sometimes i really wonder am i considered a fortunate child? i will tend to compare why other people's parents will tend to buy everything for them? Why they wun get scolded if they din work during holiday? Why i have to work and pay for almost everything i use? How come even study stuffs,i also have to pay for like most of the time? Since young till now,even simple stuffs like pens, i would have to pay using my pathetic pocket money? Still remember the times in my primary school, i have to eat bread for like months and months in order to save up and go out and have fun. My first movie session wasn't with my parents :(
Shall not be grumpy anymore. Every one's life and fate is different.

Ha ha! Sunday makes people lazy and dun feel like doing anything. So am i. Din really did lot of stuffs though i was supposed to finish tut and read up. Finished a few ooptics qns for tut and one of the case of opath tut. The qns on keratoconus is still on the way to finish.Ha ha! went to rm just now despite the extreme hot weather. paid my hp bill which costs me $74.84 and bought a watermelon,5 apples and one packets of milk.dad switched on the air-con :) so make me feel sleepy with the cool air that is swinging toward my direction.called dar but he seemed very sian. So that is one of the reason why i am wasting time and finding stuffs to blog NOW!

Friday! The last day of the week and tml gonna be weekend. But still,i have to wake up early and travel to work. Just because i need to buy a textbook which cost me 148bucks,i have to work and earn. Hopefully my parents will pity me and sponsor me but i think the chances of they sponsoring me is like super low.Have extra pract and i did ret on cindy and alvin. trial lenses and phoroter on cindy and phoroter on alvin. Thanks Cindy for being so patience to me!Went to bugis,the wong dunno what HK cafe and eat dinner.The milk tea cup is super long and big. i still prefer full house's milk tea =xBHG-ed and searching high and low for mama's day present. And i managed to get her a black colour bag. Thanks dar for carrying my super heavy bag while i am taking my own sweet time to choose and try!lots of stuffs to be completed by midnight. CHIONG ar!
